THREE members of Warrington Rowing Club have been selected for Great Britain's junior training squad for 2007.
Olivia Oakes, who was a member of this year's national squad and competed at the Coupe de la Jeunesse in Holland, has been joined by Katy McQuillian and Hannah Unsworth in the national set-up.
The trio, who impressed Great Britain national high performance coach Roger Boulton when he visited Warrington, will attend an intensive development camp in Nottingham next month ahead of the World Junior Rowing Championships in Beijing in August, 2007.
Warrington Rowing Club head coach Richard Sinnott said: "This is a wonderful tribute to the determination and commitment of the three girls.
"It is good for them to realise that their many accomplishments at regional and national regattas and championships over the past few years have been recognised at the top of the sport's national structure.
"Hannah, Olivia and Kate are at the head of a stream of potential future internationals developing at Warrington.
"They are excellent role models for the others and everyone at the club is rightfully proud of them."
