SIMON Cowell and company may have made 70 more enemies after a young music group were left dissapointed by their treatment in his latest TV show.

Members of Codys Youth Theatre Group had reached the London call backs for the talent show Britain's Got Talent but had to endure a 15-hour day to spend just 90 seconds being told they had not got through.

The group had already had two successful auditions in Manchester, the first for producers and the second in front of the celebrity panel and had got the necessary three votes to get through to the London round singing the Westlife hit You Raise Me Up.

Nick Cupit from the group said: "Simon Cowell was his usual self - saying he did not know whether they sounded well. Piers Morgan said he was concerned it was a bit big for them but they really nailed it. Amanda Holden said she did not know them but she was proud of them. We did Warrington proud."

But that is where their problems began.

Two coaches filled with the 70-strong choir set off from Warrington at 4.30am for their day of excitement in London.

But when they arrived they were left waiting for more than four hours without any refreshments, which they said they had been promised by organisers.

"The whole process was badly managed," added Mr Cupit.

"We went to the Cafe Royale in London which was the holding area. We arrived at 10.30am and we were sat in a stuffy room until 3pm."

When it came to their moment in the spotlight they had to traipse across the West End to the theatre.

The group had been told not to bring chaperones for the trip as they would be provided, which they were for the trip to the theatre. But, after being told that they had not made it through, they were left to walk back to the Cafe Royale with no chaperones to help guide the huge group back.

"The whole 15-hour day was geared for the one and a half minutes to tell them it's not them," added Mr Cupit.

"They did not even get to perform. For many of them it would have been a dream to perform on a West End stage."
