Eyes down to help children's nursery
LORRAINE Standring raised £278 for a children's nursery school at a bingo fundraiser last night.
The bingo evening was held at Rode Heath Village Hall in aid of the Peter Pan Nursery in Newcastle-under-Lyme.
Lorraine lives in Alsager, and her two-year-old son Adam, who has Down Syndrome, goes to the nursery.
The bingo evening included 29 prizes, many of which were donated.
There is a bingo night every Thursday at the village hall, and next Thursday's is in aid of hall funds.
