Johnson cleared after Cas incident
Paul Johnson

THE RFL video panel have ruled that Paul Johnson has no case to answer after an alleged strike during Wolves' win at Castleford on Monday.

Cas fans were up in arms after Johnson appeared to arrive late into a three-man tackle with a dangerous swinging arm.

But the RFL ruled that the video footage of the 58th-minute incident was inconclusive and did not call Johnson to a hearing.

But what is the SP on Louis Anderson?

We desperately need the 3 D's
Discipline. First and foremost. We cannot afford players in the sin bin or being banned especially when fit to play. We also cannot afford high penalty count against us every game.
Dedication. The club pays the wages and (I hope the medical bills) so dedication to the Wolves cause should be a major factor for all players in deciding whether, or not, to renew contracts.
Determination. This simply means doing to the best of your ability what you are paid to do as professionals with Discipline and Dedication.
Until all playing staff understand this we will never be a major force.
I am going to cause some controversy here but I honestly feel that our current position of 2nd in the table is not only a false position on performances to date, more of a failure of other teams, but also cannot be maintained for the whole season with the indiscipline shown so far.
There is a fourth D but I will leave this to a later post.
I await being blown away with interest but as a supporter for the last 59 years I have seen many changes, some good but not all for the better, although I have to admit the game has changed in all recognition from when I first stood in the Kids pen at the railway end in 1948.

Dave.
Some good points there and you are correct on all counts as to what is to be expected of a player. This season has shown that we do need to work on discipline mainly on the technical pens side and conceding high penalty counts does affect the points for and against at the end of a game if not the result.
However I think this year we have seen dedication and determination from the side more so than previous seasons. The last gasp win on monday displays both I think.
I look forward to the fourth D dave, it's always good to read your posts, you make some very valid points.
