BIG Brother star Liam Young could be hitting the charts soon.

In an exclusive interview with the World, the 19-year-old, of Liverpool Road, Widnes, said he was in talks with record companies about the opportunity of releasing a song.

"It is a possibility," he said. "I have met with a label and I will continue down that avenue and see what happens."

The budding entrepreneur, who was evicted from Big Brother: Celebrity Hijack on Friday, also hit back at rumours he lied about his success to secure a place on the show.

"I was briefed about what had been said when I came out," he said. "I call it the good, the bad and the ugly - and I have dealt with the ugly - but I still do get a bit of bad press.

"A lot of people out there can be jealous about things and try to pick up on your weaknesses."

"There was only one aspect of my services that was out of action, which was my web hosting because I personally manage that and couldn't do it while I was in the house."

However, Liam, who tipped boxer Anthony or politician John to win the show, admitted he loved his time in the house.

"I wouldn't change anything about my experience in the house," he said. "Some people would question why I would do some things on camera, but they don't understand how much the environment has an impact on you.

"But I think only me and (fellow evictee) Victor were true to ourselves."
