A HANDFUL of homes across Warrington have been cordoned off by police in connection with the murder of Christopher Lamberth.

Detectives sealed off a house at Holmes Court, off Lords Lane in Locking Stumps, at 7.40pm last night, Monday.

Two men and two women are currently being held in custody on suspicion of murder.

A police spokesman said: "There have been four or five properties identified as part of the investigation, to which we need to establish ownership and whether witnesses and suspects had access to them either prior or following the offence."

Mr Lamberth, aged 20, was stabbed to death on Sunday morning around 7am at his home at 90 Manchester Road.

Police are appealing for witnesses who may have seen the incident or a small black car parked outside the house between 7am and 7.45am to contact investigating officer Detective Chief Inspector Paul Rumney on 0845 458 0000 or call Crimestoppers Anonymous on 0800 555 111.
