Is this a ghost?

7:09am Wednesday 12th September 2007

THE paranormal is in closer reach after a man has developed new electronic software to capture images of ghosts.

Paul Rowland first became interested in the supernatural three years ago, and has used his background in electronics to build up new ghost-spotting equipment.

And now he believes Warrington could hold the key to unlocking one of our most enduring mysteries.

He wanted to bring paranormal investigations up to date with modern technology and so he began working on ultra sensitive cameras and camcorders which are triggered by movement.

Paul hopes that his equipment will soon capture the first modern image of a ghost.

He has already caught one image that he thinks may well be of the paranormal.

"I wouldn't like to speculate that it is the ultimate ghost picture but it is certainly a new and unusual photo taken in a haunted house where a spiritual incident had just taken place with a medium," he said.

Paul wants to explore other haunted locations and work with spiritual groups to capture the elusive photograph.

He thinks Warrington is a good hunting ground for the supernatural beings.

If you know of a haunted place or have recently seen a ghost, Paul wants to hear from you.
