A RAIDER armed with a knife attacked a bookmakers in Grappenhall yesterday.
The man, aged between 35 and 45, struck at the Coral bookmakers on Knutsford Road at 9.15pm.
He threatened the 22-year-old working there with the large knife before stealing notes and coins.
Detectives say the 22-year-old was left shaken but wasn't hurt in the attack.
Police are describing the man as around 6ft, with a thin build and gaunt complexion. He spoke with a Warrington accent.
He wore a black, zip-up three quarter length black jacket.
