FORMER Vics utility man Josh Wilson has made history after signing for Leigh RMI.

The 20-year-old is one of the first full time players to sign for the UniBond Premier Division club.

Jonathan Goulding and Richard Chetcuti are the others.

"He was a stand-out target," said Leigh boss Steve Bleasdale.

"All three players have proved that they have what it takes to succeed at a higher level so we're delighted to have them here."

Leigh RMI will lock horns with Vics' neighbours Witton Albion in the UniBond Premier Division following their relegation from Blue Square North at the end of last term.

And Wilson will come face-to-face with his former employers sooner than he imagined after the Railwaymen invited Vics to play at their new Leigh Sports Village home on July 12.
