Help at hand for older people

CHESHIRE Carers Centre will be hosting a series of talks for carers of older people living in Cheshire through November and December.

The caring at home course has been running at the London Road centre, in Northwich, from Monday this week and will finish on Monday, December 14, between 12.30pm and 3pm with lunch provided.

Over the seven weeks the free course will include talks by Social Services, the NHS Foundation Trust, Weaver Vale Housing Trust, Age Concern, and Susan Howarth Solicitors. There will also be lessons for relaxation techniques and an outing planned for the last week.
